French Bread - from a French Stick tin=success


It worked, it tastes good - especially with this herbed goats' cheese and no 'GF bread' taste... Aliya will be very very happy.

  3. hi, I tried this bread and I live at a high altitude, had the bread taste great, but it was very sticky in side the middle like it needed to cook more.....what have i done wrong.

  4. Hi I also live in Calgary. I would be happy to chat to you email me directly (look at my profile for email contact)... but I make this bread frequently and don't have any trouble... The thing is though it might depend on how much dough you are putting into each loaf and how long the loaf...in other words... I make 2 - 3 loaves(depending on my mood) and they are thin and long rather than fat and short... That could be a very small change to make to how you are preparing if for the oven..... and then you will be successful...
